Christmas at Pappaw Taylor's

 A friendly game of pool
 A little help

 The kids' table
I'm so excited that next year there will be 6 kids in the picture, since Ellie is going to be a big sister!  Woohoo!

Dallas got a superhero shirt that matches Ty's.  He was pretty excited about that!

Christmas at Mammaw with Jasper and Cassie's

 12/23/2012

Ty and Dallas both got InnoTab computers, which are sort of like a kid's iPad.  It's great because they both like to play games on Justin's iPad, which leads them to believe it's a toy.

Christmas at Grandma Shirley's

Santa always comes to Grandma Shirley's house, and the boys climbed right up on his lap and let him know what they wanted for Christmas.  Dallas wants a four wheeler.
Ty told Santa that he wants Skylanders and an "actual sprayer," which means a toy agricultural sprayer that he and Daddy saw at Rural King.
This year, it was really warm on the day of Grandma Shirley's Christmas, so we all went outside and smacked around a Christmas pinata.

As an extra Christmas treat this year, Olivia and the kids came home for the weekend!  We are so happy that now they live close enough to be home more often.  We are looking forward to making a trip to S. Carolina this spring to see their new house.

Preschool Christmas Program

On December 22, the boys had a Christmas program at their school.  Ty's class played Christmas carols with hand bells.  He did great, I was so proud of him.
Dallas's class sang Christmas carols.  Some of the kids cried and didn't want to go on the stage to sing, but Dallas did great!  Here he is waving at us.

Great Behavior

Ty gets a sicker for every day at preschool that he has great behavior.  When his chart is full he gets a treat from the teacher.  This is his third full chart this school year!  YAY!  He takes after his mommy!

Polar Express

Whitewater Scenic Railway
Connersville, IN
December 14, 2012
This is our third year of the Polar Express tradition.  The boys really love it, and we just love watching their excitement seeing Santa.

Ty told Santa that he wanted Pirates of the Caribbean (it's a video game.)
Dallas told Santa that he wanted a four wheeler.

Tooth fairy

The afternoon of Dec. 11, Daddy went to pick the boys up from preschool, and Ty looked like THIS!

We tried and tried to get a story out of him about how it fell out, but he wouldn't really say anything other than that it just fell out and that it didn't hurt.  A few weeks prior, he had said that his tooth was loose, but it was only a little bit loose and he really hadn't mentioned it again....and then, POOF...it's out!

Grandma Shirley didn't have Ty's tooth fairy pillow made yet (because nobody was expecting him to start losing teeth so early), so he had to use Daddy's for this first one.

The tooth fairy brought him a new toothbrush and $3 for Skylanders!
