Adventures in Tyland

Letely Ty has really started talking up a blue streak. Every day it seems like he's spouting off with something that just cracks Justin and me up. Here are some examples from this weekend.

Justin went fishing on Saturday morning and caught a nice walleye. Justin was showing it to Ty in the livewell this morning and he told Ty that we were going to eat it for supper. Ty said, "Yeah. Don't kill it, Daddy." Incidentally, he watched Justin clean it later and didn't seem to mind.

Later in the afternoon (as naptime was approaching) Ty got a time out for sassing me. After he got done crying he came over to apologize to me I asked him to tell me calmly what he wanted. His reply was, "I want cash." When translated into "Ty vernacular" this meant, "I want to cast" (fishing pole), but we got a good laugh.

At dinner we had the above mentioned walleye and corn on the cob. Ty scarfed down his fish and had moved on to his corn. He was just chomping away and then he says, "Ouch, I sprayed my eye." He had squirted corn juice in his eye when he took a bite. Too funny.

In Dallas news, he has sprouted his 2 bottom teeth and is now an accomplished roller-over-er. He can go all around a room (in a cirlce, of course) rolling back to front, front to back.

Second Annual July 4th Fish Fry

Dallas and Aunt Susie
Maybe someday we'll have a house in which to cook all the food, but for now the RV and a grill will have to do.

This was the first year that we had actual Wisconsin fish at our fish fry. It was a big hit, but we didn't use up nearly as much fish as I'd hoped. I still have 2 bags full in my freezer. I guess we won't need to keep many this year in Wisconsin. I know some bass and northern who will be hapy to hear that.
