Push Up Club

Chips off the old block....

Happy Easter!

Lately Justin has been finding all these cool ideas for different things on the internet.  I guess he runs his jobs so efficiently that he has extra time at work to find kids' Easter activites. :)  Anyway, he had the idea to plant jelly bean "seeds" and see what grew on Easter morning.  Of course, I was all for the idea since I'm so into growing things!

So here they are scattering their "seeds."

And here's what "grew."

Easter baskets

As usual, I didn't have very good luck getting a decent Easter clothes picture.  But here are my best attempts.

Here they are finding their baskets at Mammaw Ogden's house.  One of the things I always remember as a kid is that at Mammaw's house you had to find your Easter basket as well as the eggs.  I always liked that.  Dallas's was in Pappaw's coat closet.

Ty's was in the hall closet.

Dallas and his helper, Uncle Bill.

Here they are hunting their eggs at Grandma Shirley's.

Easter Eggs

Daddy found this idea online to put food coloring in shaving cream to color tie-dyed eggs.  Worked pretty well and the boys thought it was big fun, of course.

Dallas Visits the Dentist

3/29/13
The boys' preschool was closed on Good Friday this year, so the boys spent the afternoon at my office.  While they were there, they got cleanings on the dental side.  This was Dallas' first cleaning and he did great!  No crying or whining.  He was so brave.  Both boys got a great report and no cavities (which I was worried about for Dallas since he drinks so much apple juice.) WOOHOO!!

A Cold Day at the Park

One weekend in March, Trista and I decided to take the kids to the park.  It was supposed to be a relatively warm weekend, and boy did the weathermen get it WRONG.  Luckily, I had the boys' hats and heavy coats but didn't have mine.  I spent the entire time with Dallas' blankie wrapped around my head.
