Texas Cousins

Liv, Nick and the kids were up from Texas, so we had everybody over for a cookout to celebrate getting to see them!  So here are our best attempts at getting 5 kids to simultaneously smile in our direction.

I laugh every time I look at Dallas pulling Taryn's hair in this picture.  Captures the true experience of trying to get kids to be still for a picture.

Peter Cottontail

Look what was lurking around our back yard that Daddy caught for the boys.  And NO....we didn't keep him as a pet!  No more rabbits...EVER.

July 4

We had a small crowd this year for our first fish fry at the new house, but that's OK.  We still had a blast!  Our guests included Mom, Mammaw, Uncle Bill, Collin, Audrey, Ada, Owen, Aunt Peggy, Uncle Dave and Shayla.

The kids had fun doing "poppers," but everyone but Owen just poured their whole bag out at one time and stomped on them all.  So the entertainment didn't last long for anyone but Owie!

After we ate, we swam and swam in 90 degree pool water.

Collin's family stayed til dark to do fireworks.  So while we waited for sunset, we did sparklers.

We put a stop to them using the kind of sparklers that Ty has in this picture after one shot a bunch of projectiles out of it and Collin burned his foot on one.
