Letter to Santa

Ty's class wrote letters to Santa, and they published them in the paper. Check out what Ty wrote.....

HA!  A Jar!  Most of the other kids were saying they wanted things like phones and iPads, and my kid wants a JAR!  We asked him why he wanted a jar and he said something about us needing a place to keep blueberries.  HA!  That kid....

Hi-YAH!!

Just in case anyone out there was ever considering breaking in to my house...I would advise against it.  A ninja guards the door now.  A few nights ago I had gotten out of bed to get Dallas some apple juice.  Evidently, Ty had gotten up to go to the bathroom shortly after me because when I came back into my room, he was coming out of the bathroom.  It was kind of dark so he couldn't see who I was and he immediately started crouching down into a karate stance sorta like this here....

WOW!  Fearing for my life, I whispered, "Buddy, it's Mommy."  He aborted the attack and said, "Whew!  Ok" and crawled into our bed and went to sleep.  I don't know how, though, with me snickering right beside him. :)

Polar Express

This year Ellie and Jack went with us on the Polar Express.

We had to go early this year because I waited too long to get tickets. So this year we ended up going          before Thanksgiving.  But it was OK, we still had a great time for our fourth annual ride on the Polar Express. I was amazed at Jack. He hardly made a peep the whole ride. I remember Daalas's first ride. He didn't do nearly as well.

Dallas told Santa that he wants a jeep with two seats and two steering wheels and 2 batteries. I'm not sure how Santa's elves are going to make that one. Ty said he wanted a dragon.

Trick or Treat

Ninja Turtle and Batman
Justin took the last half of this week off (since he starts his new position on Monday YAY!!!) so he and Dallas had been running errands all day on Thursday.  Dallas had just woken up from a nap before we got him dressed in his costume, so he wasn't very happy when this picture was taken.  Funny...I think it happened the same way last year.

This year Ty wanted a Ninja Turtle birthday party and I was happy to oblige.

This is Ty with his cousin Halli and his new friend, Cooper who lives next door.  Cooper, Ty and Dallas have all become fast buddies.  Cooper has a 3 year old sister named Cami who tags along with him. I think the four of them would spend every waking hour together if they could.  I'm so happy that they have playmates now!

We got Ty Skylanders SwapForce and new Beyblades.  He has been really into Beyblades lately.

Ty's 6!!

Six years old and in Kindergarten.  Where has the time gone?!  Ty is growing into such a cool little boy.  He is so sweet.  Everyone who meets him talks about what a sweet kid he is.  He's so thoughtful and kind.  His teacher says he is very helpful to others in his class and is doing great with his school work, although he has trouble listening to instructions sometimes. :) Who doesn't??  Your dad and I are so vey proud of you, Ty and we love you more than words can say!  Happy Birthday, Buddy!

Headless Horseman

After the fish fry I took the boys to the Headless Horseman with Trista, Elisha, Ellie, Collin, Audrey , And and Owen.  This year it was really warm so it was actually comfortable on the hayride!

Here are the little goobers watching "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow."  I love that cartoon.
