I Just Love This Picture

I found this picture on my phone that the boys had taken of themselves.  It just makes me smile.  I love them so much it hurts!

Missing Tooth #2

Last Thursday (1/17) we noticed when Ty was brushing his teeth before bed that his bottom tooth was just hanging on by a thread.  We were afraid he'd swallow it in his sleep, so we convinced him that we had to get it out.  Daddy tried to get it, but Ty didn't let him get a good enough hold.  We tried showing him videos on YouTube of kids pulling their teeth out with a string tied to a door so he could see that it didn't hurt, but he wasn't buying.  Finally, Mommy had to have a talk with him and he eventually let me pull it.  It bled for a second, but he did a great job and was so brave!  This time the tooth fairy brought him $2 and some kit kats.

Dallas is 3

 1/6/13
I tried to let Dallas pick his party theme this year and he ranged everywhere from dinosaurs to superheroes to dragons to godzilla (both of which have been done before) so I made an executive decision and went with trains.  Next year, I'll let him pick.

Daddy and I got him this art desk for his room since he is so into drawing.

Meridian Vision Center

Well, it's official.  As of Dec 31, I'm a business owner.
If anybody needs to see better, come visit us!  We're the best in the business, of course!

Christmas at Mammaw with Taloose's

Mammaw has a great sledding hill in her front yard, so the boys took advantage.

Snow Days

 12/26/12
This was during our so-called "Blizzard" this year that caused me to miss my last day at my old job and then turned out to be not much snow.
But at least it was enough for the boys to get bundled up and go play in it a little bit.  We didn't have any snow for them to play in last winter.

Christmas Day

Here the boys are putting Santa's cookies out for him with their notes that they wrote to him.  Ty is pretending to be a velociraptor.  Don't ask me why...

Santa came!

Stockings

Ty got a whole bunch of Skylanders.  He had been talking for weeks about how he wanted Santa to bring him the Skylander, Zap.  And Santa DID....how awesome is he?!?
One of Dallas' gifts was Lincoln Logs
And he got Creepy Crawlers.  He and Daddy have made about a hundred bugs since Christmas.  I find them all over the house.
More Skylanders

Santa had left the four wheeler that Dallas asked for in the living room for the boys to open as their last present.  But Ty wandered out of the playroom in the middle of opeing presents and subsequently came running back to tell all of us that there was a really big present under the other Christmas tree.  So we paused to go see it.

Then it was back to opening more regular presents.  Here Ty is unwrapping the game Skylanders Giants.
Dallas love to draw and color, so Santa brought him a lot of art supplies.

And what little boy doesn't need a dump truck set for Christmas?

This year Grandma and Grandpa Barnhart were leaving on Christmas Day to go visit Olivia and Aunt Sherry, so they came to our house on Christmas Day instead of having a Christmas at their house.

Mammaw Ogden's Christmas at Aunt Peggy's house

We got the good news that Grady and Alexis are expecting their first baby in July, so that makes another baby due this summer.  Yay!
