After much convincing, I was finally able to persuade Justin to let me get some chicks this year! I'm so excited to raise these little girls and have some fresh eggs this summer!
Here are the girls at 1 day old
The day that the chicks arrived in the mail was Ty's 100th day of school, so he was supposed to dress up like an old man. We drew a gray mustache on him with a marker and so Dallas had to have one too!
Here they are at 10 days old. I'm not keeping all of these, by the way. Some of them are going to my Aunt Peggy and some to a friend of mine. My goal is to end up with 3 so I'm going to keep 5 or 6. I figure a few will probably get eaten by a fox or something so that will give me a few to spare.
