O Christmas Tree

I can't believe it's already time to be putting up my Christmas trees.  This year I put them up the weekend after Thanksgiving because I'm going to be so busy in December with the practice opening that I was afraid I wouldn't get them up at all if I didn't do it that weekend.

So my little helpers helped me get them all decorated.  And there weren't even any fights or too many broken ornaments!  I bet Santa will be good to them this year.
The other day, Dallas woke up and the first words out of his mouth were, "We have to go clean up the playroom because Santa has to have room to walk around in there."  I'm really not even sure he was totally awake when he said it.  I think he must've been dreaming about Santa.haha

Circus

Last night we went to the circus with the Tragers.  It's a good thing the boys like Stephen and Katie so much because they are around them non-stop now that Melinda and I have so much work to do with the new practice.

Dallas seemed to really enjoy himself.  The circus lasted until 9:30.  After intermission, he started getting a little sleepy and laid down on Justin's lap a few times.  But he didn't fall asleep or get cranky.

Ty had his ears covered about 80% of the time.  I don't blame him, though.  It was loud.  And he comes by his dislike of loud noise honestly.  I wished I could cover my ears, too.  But I was too busy covering his.
I know he doesn't look like it in this picture, but Ty really did have fun.  At intermission, he goes, "This is AWESOME!"

The theme of this circus was dragons.  They had a dragon that rolled around the arena at the finale and breathed fire.  Both boys said that was their favorite part.

Hoompa Doompas

Justin recorded Willy Wonka for the boys.  When Dallas wants to watch it he says, "I want the hoompa doompas."  Makes me laugh every time!

Owen's 6

Collin, Audrey and the kids came up the weekend after Thanksgiving to celebrate Owen's 6th birthday.  We went out to eat after church.

Then went to Monkey Joe's!

Boo!!

A spy

And Spiderman....shooting a web at the camera.

First we went to the nursing home to trick or treat with Mammaw.  Ty was really grumpy at first and wouldn't wear his adorable mustache the whole night (I was so disappointed).  While we were at the nursing home, a sweet old man brought the kids out a bowl of candy and beanie babies.  It was so sweet!

Then we went to Dad's
TinkerMan

The look on Dallas' face says "bedtime" if ever I've seen it!

And we finished up at Grandma Shirely Mae's

Portraits

Aunt Shelsea took the boys' portraits this summer.  So here they are...
