Real Men Build Things

Justin was putting together Dallas's new beds, and Dallas wanted to help.  Their motto was "Real men build things."

Tom and Jerry Party

Dallas LOVES Tom and Jerry.  Originally, he had picked out Spiderman for his 4th birthday party, but last month he changed to Tom and Jerry.  I'm kind of glad, actually.  It made his cake much easier to make.

We got Dallas big boy bunk beds!

Reecie's Mishap

Two weeks ago, Reecie ran out into the road and managed to get hit by a car.  Somehow, she only ended up with a dislocated elbow.  Nothing else wrong with her.  How that happens I don't know, but nevertheless we are being joined indoors by a convalescing dog for the next month or so.  I love her and I'm so glad she's going to be OK, but honestly, I'm ready for her to be well so she can go back outside.  Once you make the change to not having animals in the house it's hard to go back.

Happy Birthday

After 4 days cooped up in the house from the snow, I decided that I needed to get out on Dallas's birthday, so we went to Applebee's for his birthday dinner.  Here he is enjoying his birthday dessert.

Jan 4-5, 2014

It snowed like crazy on our way home on Sunday.  They cancelled Ty's school the whole week, and my office was closed on Monday and Tuesday so we got to have a little extended vacation at home.  That was nice.  Ty went to work with me 4 or 5 days while he was on Christmas break, and he did such a terrific job!  He was great!  Just stayed in my office and watched movies and played with his toys.  It was so nice for me to be able to go into my office and see his little face and play with him in between patients.  I'm going to miss him so much and be so lonely at work now when he's not there with me.

Dallas Loves Santa

Dallas made this note that he told me says, "Dallas loves Santa.  Not on the naughty list."  Then he proceeded to tell me all of our family was on the nice list except for Daddy because he told him that he couldn't be out of bed yet.

More Christmas

The boys got this art easel and it hasn't even resulted in any fights or paint on the walls (yet.)

Ellie got a vanity.  Dallas loved it!

Christmas at Mammaw Ogden's

My mom made all the grandkids (or great grandkids, I guess) pillows out of Pappaw's old sleeveless shirts with pictures of him and the kids on them.  They are really awesome!

Here is Dallas meeting his new second cousin, Emery.  He LOVES babies!  Especially ones that are related to him.  He loves getting new baby cousins.  It's a good thing he doesn't want a baby sibling cuz he's not getting one!
