Justin is gone this weekend at a musky school, Which his work is providing for him as a stress reliever. They're awesome! Elisha was at the fire station on , Trista and I were bored and decided to take the kids to monkey Joe's and to the movies to see "Planes." Ty did a great job and absolutely loved the movie! Dallas and Ellie got a little bored about halfway through and spent the second half of the movie walking up and down the aisles and talking to each other. Needless to say Trista and I were ready to go about three quarters of the way through the movie. But overall it was a great time!

Old Engine Show
Last year we missed Conner Prairie's old engine show. Justin's dad gave him one of his old engines for his birthday and now Justin has one of his own to enter in the show. The boys had a really good time shelling and grinding corn. They also had a curiosity fair going on at Conner Prairie so the boys got to see some cool things there. We walked around the Conner Prairie exhibits and checked out how things worked in the old times. Ty Dallas and I all got to milk the cow for the first time too!
Ty lost his fourth tooth that weekend as well. He stood up to show me how loose it was and then sat back down a few minutes later he had it in his hand! The tooth fairy brought him four quarters this time for his fourth lost tooth.
Apple Picking
We absolutely LOVE where we live. One of the many advantages to our location is that Tuttle's orchard is just down the road! So Dallas and I took advantage of a beautiful fall Wednesday morning to go pick some apples.
So far I have made a big batch of homemade applesauce, which seemed to be a hit. Apple butter is up next.

David and Joliaph
Here are a few Bible stories the boys told me they learned at their preschool. Ty told me that he learned about Noah and the flood and also Joneph. I chuckled and asked him what happened to Joneph, did he get swallowed by a whale? He looked at me like I was crazy and said, "No." I said did he have a lot of brothers who threw them in a hole? Again he looked at me like I was crazy and said, " No, Mom. I don't remember what happened to him." I thought that was a fitting response since I don't know what happened to him either. Then it was Dallas's turn to tell me a Bible story. His was about David and Joliaph. According to Dallas in that story David killed Joliaph with a stone. That's a good start....
