Lunch Buddies

Dallas and I went to have lunch at school with Ty on a Friday recently.  As we were walking out to recess Ty grabbed Dallas's hand to lead him out to the playground so he wouldn't get lost.  He was walking a little bit slowly because he just HAD to wear his snow boots that day and I guess his brother was concerned about him.  I love how thoughtful Ty is!

During recess I somehow got recruited by a little girl to start a rousing game of Red Rover, so I had about half the first grade class going by the end!  Whew!

July 4th Fish Fry

After the fish fry, Ty wanted me to play ninjas with him, which consists of sneaking around the yard, hiding behind bushes and talking to each other over the walkie talkies.  So as we were playing I went around a corner to hide, and he started talking to me over the radio and his little scratchy voice was so cute coming over the airways that I had to respond with, "Ty, you are adorable and I love you with all my heart."  This was the response I got...."UUUUGGGHHHH...only say NINJA THINGS, Mommy!!"  I think I gave away my hiding spot from laughing!
