This year the boys made it til 4:40 before they were up and asking to open presents. They got up around midnight looking to see if Santa had come yet, but he hadn't. For some reason, Mommy and Daddy were locked in the playroom at the time, and the boys were really confused why they couldn't come in. Ty went and looked at the cookies (which were still there) so he knew Santa hadn't come yet. So when we told them Santa hasn't come yet and you need to go back to bed before he has to pass our house, they went straight to bed.
For some reason Dallas wanted yarn and knitting needles. He's learning how to knit and crochet (when he is around anyone who knows how to do that because I'm no help in that department!)
Both boys asked Santa for throwing tomahawks, which he brought them.
They also got a lot of survival gear and books
Here's some of Dallas's clothes that he asked Santa for.
Ty got 3 gyroscopes!! Santa must think he's a really good boy!
They also got new coats and snow pants. So did I, and, of course, we have had no snow this year.
Binoculars!
Ty got Dallas the "Headbanz" game.
Dallas got Ty a "Flippin' Chickens" Game.
Ty wanted to get me a blanket since he knows I like to be warm. They picked out an orange one just for me! I also got that awesome garden cart behind me in the photo! Woot! Can't wait for spring!!!
And the grand finale....
BB GUNS!!!!
And, most importantly....to prevent anyone from shooting his eye out (which DOES happen..I've seen it more than once) Mrs. Clause got them safety glasses. They both know to recite the rule that if they shoot them even once without their safety glasses, the guns get taken away.
Looks like a natural, doesn't he???
A little Christmas morning target practice...Grandpa even came over and got in on the action....3 generations of BB gun shooters.
