Valentine's Day Sledding

We got some pretty decent sledding snow on Valentine's Day, and there's a new sledding hill in Fishers.  So we decided to go check it out.

Now that I have some decent snow pants I was able to join in, and I have to say, we had a really good time.  Ty and I even got some air a few times on a couple of our trips down.  But, man, was it COLD!  It was pretty windy that day and snow kept blowing in our faces every time we went down.  So we had to run by a drive thru and get some hot chocolate on the way home.  Ty wasn't too excited about that because he did NOT want to leave.

Dallas wanted a Star Wars party this year, even though he'd never seen Star Wars.  But thanks to Aunt Livi for getting him the movies so he would know who his birthday cakes were.

Dallas invited a bunch of his buddies from school.  He invited one girl, and she came to the party.  But when she arrived and saw that she was completely outnumbered by boys, she got really shy and wouldn't let go of her mom, so she ended up going home.  It was so cute, though.  When Dallas opened her gift, her card said, "I love you" all over it.

Before the party Dallas asked me if he and his friends could do the pinata with his tomahawk.  Of course, I told him no because his friends wouldn't be allowed to come over anymore if their parents heard they did a pinata with a tomahawk.  Then he said, "Well, OK, how about we just use the BB gun?"  HA!  'Cuz that's so much better....
