Ty is 9, and up to this point he had not lost his 2 top baby teeth. Turns out the reason was because he had 2 sets of adult teeth on the top front. So the baby set and the extra adult ones needed to be removed. So, on 1/6/17 it was off to the oral surgeon's office.
Overall things went very well and very quickly (the whole thing took 30 minutes). But he was NOT happy about the fact that they had to give him an IV and he didn't get any "happy gas" first. Evidently, the first time they stuck him he moved and the needle came out so they had to do it twice more. He HATES shots, so that was the part he complained about the most, even after the surgery was over. We came home and he laid on the couch for a couple of hours. After that he was up bouncing around and playing like normal.
