Making Ornaments
We made salt dough ornaments for Ty's preschool teachers' Christmas gifts. There were several left over, so Dallas joined in on the painting. They had a great time....for about 3 ornaments a piece, then they lost interest.
Dallas' ornaments
Ty's ornaments. The star on the left was for Mrs. Heideman and the tree in the middle was for Mrs. Schildmeyer.

The Polar Express
12/16/2011
Whitewater Valley Railroad
Connersville, IN
We enjoyed some Christmas cookies and hot chocolate on the train just like in the movie.
The conductor came around and punched the boys' tickets with a Christmas tree.
Here the boys are looking for Santa. He came around to all the kids and gave them a present.
Here are their presents. Bells, just like in the movie.
We did this train ride last year also, and I think we're going to make it a yearly tradition (at least while the boys are small enough to think it's cool.) I told Justin about the time they're 13 and 15 we'll look back and wish so much we could go on the Polar Express again with our two sweet little guys.

The Littlest Musky Hunter
This week, Dallas has been getting out Justin's musky magazines and saying, "Gon' read muskies." Makes Daddy proud, I'm sure.
Aren't We Crafty
This week, I decided to try a few new crafts with the boys that I saw online. First, we made homemade playdough. It was a big hit!
They drove their cars in it. Dallas means business.
Here's what they made for their mommy.
Then we made handprint Christmas wreaths.
Ty's is on the left, Dallas' on the right.
