This year I put up 2 trees, at Justin's suggestion. The one in the family room is what I call my primitive tree. I got all new decorations for it to match the primitive decor throughout the rest of the house.
The only problem was that I couldn't find any primitive stockings to match. So, I decided to be brave and make my own. I haven't sewn anything on a sewing machine since 7th grade Home Ec, so this was quite a leap of faith for me. But....here's the finished product. And I did it completely myself! I'm a little proud, if I do say so myself. Maybe I'm a little bit more domestic than I give myself credit for.
