Justin wanted to take a little camping trip this week. He was going to take the boys to Brookville Lake to camp and fish Monday and Tuesday, but that got derailed because of Ty's baseball tournament. So we just went to Summit. We were supposed to leave to go there on Wednesday, but it was so rainy that we decided to stay home. We were going to tent camp, but Mom and Jim let us borrow their camper since rain was forecast every day. And man am I glad they did because it was so wet it would've been miserable in a tent. Anyway....we managed to sneak in a little trail hiking and bike riding. The boys got a tree identification book that they really enjoyed.
While we were at this playground Ty spotted this baby bunny, and I said, "Well Daddy can catch rabbits. Go see if you can catch it." Well the apple doesn't fall far from the tree because sure enough Ty ran him down. He was so proud of himself for catching his first rabbit. There was another family on the other side of the park and he was so excited he wanted to take it over to them and show them that he had caught his first bunny. If you know Ty at all you know he had to be really excited to want to go talk to complete strangers.
The boys made these painting at school for Father's Day. They were so excited to give them to Justin that they talked him into opening his presents on Saturday night even though he wanted to wait until Father's Day.
