Meet Cottontail, the newest member of our family. She is Bobcat's last little lone kitten that she had before she died. Since Dallas didn't have a kitty anymore, we let him keep her. She is probably the friendliest cat I've ever had. And she loves to lay by the fire...a kitty after my own heart...
It's been a bad couple of months for animals around here. Not only did Bobcat die, but shortly thereafter this litter of 8 kittens that Sophie had died too. Since then, Sophie and Cottontail have bonded together and Sophie has totally taken over as her mom. She plays with her and gives her the "mom bath" (as the boys call it). Also, we lost 5 chickens to a mink!
