We went to Lark Ranch with our friends, the Fords. Easton and Emery go to Faithful Beginnings with the boys, and they have been friends for a long time.
This year at Lark Ranch they had a rock climbing wall. Ty was very excited about that, as he has been trying out rock climbing a lot at Climb Time this year. (I think he likes it so much because he can sharpen his survival skills for when he grows up to be a survival expert like Bear Grylls.) He tried and tried to get to the top of the wall, but he kept getting a little scared and stalling out. So he took a break and moved on to other things...

Before we left, Ty gave the rock wall one last try, and he MADE IT TO THE TOP! Woohooo! I was so proud of him. When he got down he was literally shaking from being so scared. But he faced his fears and did it! We have been working on facing fears this summer, so I was so happy he made it!

As you can see, he now has the hang of the rock wall and wanted to race Daddy.
