Growing Up

Here are the boys playing with the Easter ducklings.  They grew so FAST it was craaazy!  And, by the way, we found out that ducks drink a TON of water.  They are much different than chickens, although these ducks think they are chickens.  

Here's their new box I made for them in the garage.  One of the Speckled Sussex chicks that I was so excited about has since shown himself to be a rooster (grrr) so he'll be going soon.  Bummer because he's the pretties chicken I've had so far.

Someone else is growing up.  On April 22, Ty got his first braces.  Just 3 brackets on the top left side so not a big deal, but here he is enjoying his orthodontist-prescribed "get your braces on day" milk shake.  And he hasn't once complained about them hurting.  YAY!
